I have rental properties in Texas. Main drawback is the high property tax.

The particular property being advertised is a community developed around 3 man-made, lakes specifically engineered for tournament water skiing. The community has a park for residents that is on the San Marcos river and has a water rights permit to pump 150 acre feet of water each year to maintain the lakes that were built as part of the community. The community, San Marcos River Ranch, maintains high standards and is very family oriented. SMRR has not been annexed by the City of Martindale but is located in Martindale's ETJ.
