Market Absorption Rates vary for each town.....Which towns are you asking for. I am out of the Randolph Office and Randolph is showing about a 7 month absorption rate right now. Call me if your friend is looking for an experienced realtor....:) Jill

total active inventory right now is 3138. Roughly 300 homes have sold in the past 30 days. so, the market absorption rate is about ten. Certainly it is a buyer's market as a normail rate would be 5-7. Hope that helps.
