Market Update Jan. 2013...I though all would like to know about the "Local Palm Beach Market". Not the National Market...Year-to-Date (Dec. 2011 - Dec. 2012) * Source Realtors Assoc. of the Palm Beaches. "Amazing"

Single Family home sales +14.3%, Cash +23.3, Pending Sales +77.7%, New Listings -9.3%, Median Price +20.9%, Average Sale Price +27.2%, Days-on-Market -14.1%, Inventory -40.1%, Months-Supply -45.5%.

Bottom Line, The market is improving, homes are selling, inventory was 11+ months supply last year and now is 4.3 months available. Its a great time to buy.

WOW 3 years later! Looking into that crystal ball...should have sold EVERYTHING...bought nothing... now start to buy.

In 2007 only 12 homes have closed so far this year. Of those homes only one of those were priced above $1.0 million dollars. This home was priced for $1.325 million. The prices have corrected between 10-15% overall. The National Association of Realtors recently reported that homes sales have fallen of 23% over the last year and Condo sales have fallen off by 28%.

Deer Creek Country Club is located in Deerfield Beach, Florida at the cross-roads of Powerline and Hillsboro. This community was developed in the late 1970's - early 1980's so it has weathered quite a few real estate 'trends'. Currrently there is a large and active inventory of available homes in Deer Creek. What makes Deer Creek interesting to the Buyer is that there are a number of type of homes available: highrise apartments, condominiums, lofts, villas, townhomes and single-family homes. Properties are selling here. The length of time to sell a property is typically 8 months or longer, it really depends on the specific property and the way the property is currently being marketed.
