Looking at purchasing a house at Heritage Park West. Does anyone know if the area is prone to flooding and if it is across the path of airplanes?

There are no flyways that I am aware of. Yes there are balloons, ultralights, and small planes. This is the Katy Prairie, wide open popular area for recreational flying. Just ask the Geese....
Flooding is not a problem in the area. There have been many flood control projects completed over the last 10 years , due in part to all the new developments.
This being said, with the right amount of rain in any area there is always the possibility. Heritage park west is not in the flood plain.

Heritage Park West is not in the flight path for commercial aircraft. As with all areas of Katy there is the occassional private airplane or a hot air ballon. The area is not prone to flooding but like all of West Houston/Katy, there is always a possibility of high water depending on the amount of rain.
