I have checked my sales in 1999, Of the homes that I sold in Plainview in 1999 two of them were capes and both had 4 Bedrooms. I don't know the Sq ft for your home but with the extensions it could be close to the sq ft of a 4 bedrooms cape. Of course condition, location, property size, number of baths and having a basement also matters. The 2 capes I sold in Plainview in 1999 were at 5 Lester Pl, sold for $213,000 and 17 Cedar dr E. sold for $252,000. If you want additional information feel free to contact me.

It is difficult to make an exact determination because there were no homes that sold in 1999 that fit your description exactly. All in all, 23 capes were sold in 1999 with a sales price ranging from $159,000 to $285,000. Location, overall condition, would certainly have some bearing on making a better determination. I would be pleased to dig a little deeper if a more exact figure is needed.

MLS is not showing any 3 bedroom capes as sold for 1999, although showing ranch style homes ranging from $169,000 to $260,000.

In 1999, according to the Multiple Listing Service, there were no 3 bedroom extended cape homes sold. There were six 3 bedroom Ranches that sold between $169,000 and $245,000 and there were ten 4 bedroom Capes that sold between $213.000 and $260,000. Only one of the capes had 1 bath - this home sold for $232,000. The remainder of the capes had at least 2 baths with some having 2.5 or 3 baths.
