I'm in the King's Park neighborhood in Springfield VA (22151). We're looking to move by summer's end

Asked by Sb, Springfield, VA Sun Jun 15, 2008

(relocation) and I'm wondering if we have any prayer of getting $325 - $350 for our house. Since we bought in 2001, we've redone the window, the gutters, the kitchen, one of the bathrooms and also some landscaping so we've definitely kept it up. Anyone know the area and have some input/tips/advice?

SB - I'm actually shopping for homes in that price range in Springfield right now that would have the ability to close quickly. Can you provide details on your home (how many bed rms, baths, sq ft, etc)? Maybe it'll be what we are looking for.

Currently, there are 10 homes actively for sale in your neighborhood, while there are 14 homes in some stage of being under contract, and 12 properties have sold in the past 90 days in a range of $324K-$479K range. So there has been a lot of activity in the neighborhood that would indicate that you within the pricing range for a sale. However, with knowing everything else, curb appeal, location within the community, the quality of the work done, etc, it's hard to say. Note that there we had a strong market this Spring, but we have moved into the summer slowdown. You should anticipate showings to start slowing down, but they will continue, and likewise with any open houses.
