I would only add that new homes listed d.o.m. aren't always a true picture. These are the properties I deal with most and we start on mls before construction starts so by the end of construction we could have 200 days on the market and it's a brand new home. Does that mean anything? It suggests a few things; buyers have a hard time "seeing" what isn't built yet, the floorplan may not be what some buyers needed, the market for new houses may be slow at any particular time since older houses make better "deals" dollar wise(at least up front). This wasn't the intent of the poster, Dorris, but I just wanted to explain that particular instance. Best of luck

There has been 861 properties SOLD in Grand Prairie in the past 6 months, however it all depends on what area, price range for homes SOLD on the market. Off of the top 250 price homes from $141K up to $850K DOM 125 av. price sq. ft of these 250 $74.46

If you are interested in selling your home we do flat fee listing save your $1000's at closing, we offer a Dallas home buyer rebate program

Just talk to an agent in an area. Getting Days on the Market should be easy.

Any particular neighborhood and price range or just GP in general.
Our MLS stats just split up GP, so the new stats show anywhere from 70 to 100 days. That is for April.

Any real estate company in the area should be able to answer your question. If not, then you know not to use them in the future. Just call one of the companies, ask for the duty agent, and inquire as to the average number of days on market. Good Luck!

It depends on the proximity to new builds, the age, location and condition of the home asking price etc.. etc... hard to give you a firm number of days because I have experienced showing a home to find out an offer was made on it earlier that day as well as showing homes that have been on the market over 120 days.......
