How much has the new Children's Hospital raised residential home prices in the Montclair Neighborhood so far?

Asked by Charlie Walsh, Denver, CO Sat Nov 3, 2007

With thousands of people going to work at the new Fitzsimons campus now, residential prices in the area have to rise. How much so far?

I just sold a home right by the hospital. I think the values are going to go up around that area. For the same buyer I looked around Montclair and it seems to far away for now to be affected by the Hospital. I would stay as close to the hospital as possable.

Hi Charlie

It's about 3 miles away from Montclair, so I don't think there has been any huge effect just yet. Home prices in general in this area are not making any wild swings. You can see some current home prices in this area here: http://www.realasave.com/Search.action?searchData=80220

Lots of inventory at the moment.

Good luck,

The new Children's Hospital is in Aurora, which isn't near the Montclair neighborhood so it has had no effect.
