How can I get comps on a property if I am not a realtor and have access to the MLS? Sold properties around 338 Walton Ave 78225.

Within the last 6 months, looks like houses in Palm Heights sales prices range from $23,700 to $75,000. Some rehabbed and some not. Without the specs on your property, I can only speak in generalities. Connect me for specific information.

Type in the address on Google and you will get quite a few options to choose from.

This will however give you a rough idea as to what the neighborhood is going for.

The true way to do it, will be by working with a Realtor that is responding to your question on this board.

Kathy, it sounds like possibly you don't want to work with a Realtor. From the responses you see below, they all require, as do I, that you go through us. There are a few reasons for this.

First, we pay a hefty fee to obtain that information so we reserve the use to those who we might be representing. This, according to the National Association of Realtors, is the hardest part for FSBO sellers - pricing.

It's also rather complicated and the consumer isn't trained nor has experience in this area generally. Two homes might seem the same on the surface, but when we drill down, one could be a custom home while the other a production builder, on the same street with same size home. Someone with out adequate training and expertise might fall short on pricing correctly, ultimately harming the seller.

If you truly are in the market, then take the time to find a quality Realtor that will listen to your needs. Just getting a free CMA isn't really going to help.

You could get comps and for sales in your neighborhood right from Trulia. See the link I've attached, then scroll down to see other comparable properties near you as well as recently sold properties. Hope this helps.
