Does Calumet City properties look to loose value during this declining market or will it sustain the ride?

I'm interested in purchasing a property for $181,900. I'm very curious of purchasing in a declining market.

property is like the stock market,, values go up, values go down, m but over the long haul, 10 years from now, your property will probably cost more than it does now
