Can a 3 bedroom single family/townhouse with parking and close to metro for 500K be found in North Arlington?

Asked by Lisa, Arlington, VA Wed May 18, 2011

We have three adults, (two of whom commute to DC daily) and two cars. We are moving from elsewhere in Fairfax County to shorten our DC commute and be closer to the city.

Best to go directly to a local pro at "Find a Pro" in the header of this website for local advice.

Lisa, the agents below have made some solid suggestions and you would be wise to consult with them. If you would like to find out what your financing options are I would be more than happy to assist. Getting pre-approved properly for a mortgage is half the battle when buying a home so please take a minute to read more about it here: http://www.trulia.com/blog/elliott_r_oliva/2011/12/pre-apppr…

I am in Falls Church so feel free to contact me at your convenience for more details or questions.

Lisa,

Yes, It can be found, but first we would need to be sure you are happy with the results. Home would probably be in condition that requires lot's of work plus most likely you would have to wait for it to come on the market.
N. Arlington is highly desirable area so even fixer uppers are popular for investors who would level existing home and build new on it to sell for much more. Simply put it land and location is what you are paying for!

Feel free to contact me with any additional questions.

Best,
Ivana

Hi Lisa,

Don't know if you ever purchased in N Arlington, but my team website has a great feature for searching based on proximity to a particular metro. No sign up is required to use the search feature. Go to http://www.piersonteam.com and click on the tab near the bottom and to the left. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Lisa,
Yes there are currently 4 single family homes listed under 500,000. As you consider your real estate goals and begin the on the ground search I suggest you keep in mind 4 Criteria:. Location, Condition, Size, Price. Factoring these aspects in your dream home will help you find the home in your price range. As a agent that lives in Arlington and works Arlington and Northern Virginia, I know the niche markets and currently the answer is Yes you can find a home in North Arlington for 500,000.

Hi Lisa

For a single family home in north Arlington it is difficult to find one for $500k or under, especially near a metro. There is currently this listing: http://matrix.mris.com/Matrix/Display.aspx?c=AAEAAAD*****AQA… Please let me know if you would be interested in seeing. I would be glad to help you, please drop me an email with any details.

Thanks
