Are there rentals available in the $500/month range for a disabled senior?

God Bless! You know what the area of The VIlages is like for rentals - TOP DOLLAR! There is a new apartment complex (and I am sorry the name escapes me) across the street from Oakwood on 441 heading south in Lady Lake just past the Exon station on your left. These are new about 1 year ago and have very reasonalbe rents.

I think that would be your best bet!

Best of Luck,

Try contacting the Office of Aging that services Sumter County. They often maintain lists, data and referrals that can be helpful. For a broader resource, try this elder hotline that servcies most of central Flroida. If they don't have exactly what you need, they may be able to refer to you a local office

I think your best bet is your county social services department, you also may want to check into subsidised senior living centers
Good Luck
