{the box cut me off}. I am looking for an affordable place in a trendy, centralized area, since I will travel for work, and that doesn't break the bank. I hoping for under $900/ mo, maybe a townhouse, as I am not a fan of apartments. I would love to be near lots to do, but In a safe part of town, since I will be by myself. I am willing to be about 15 minutes from the city, if you recommend some places outside of town. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!! ... more

Hello,

We are a real estate search engine so we don't represent the homes found on our site. Please follow these steps to begin your home search:

1. Click the 'Rent' tab at the top of our homepage.
2. Enter your desired city and state in the search bar and hit Enter.
3. Click 'Max Price' to select what your highest price would be to pay for a home. Click 'Min Price' to set the lowest price you would pay.
4. Select your preferred property type, square footage, allowed pets, etc.
5. Click the orange 'Done' button.

This will begin to pull up listings that are more tailored to what you are looking for.

If you are interested in a listing, click on the "Request Viewing" button. You can also take advantage of our vast network of agents here:

First of all, Trulia does not market rentals, to my knowledge, and secondly, only real estate professionals are allowed to post on Trulia. Try Zillow instead.

Hi there! There may be some landlords who would consider you even with the eviction if you are able to put down a higher security deposit. It would also help if you have contacted the property who filed your eviction and make payment arrangments with them to pay it off. Get that in writing and show it to the landlord that you apply with. Or if you've already taken care of the eviction, make sure you have a receipt showing the debt is paid.
Best Wishes!

We live at west glen and love it, the landlords (craig and dru) are wonderful and from moving in to being a tenant worked with us he has a very you are square with me i'm square with you way of doing things. I lost my job after 3 years in late Oct 2014 and they did everything they could to work with us and show us that they wanted us to stay. As for eviction notices we were late one month and we got one and freaked but anyone who is ten days late on the rent will get one but its just a normal procedure then by later that month if you haven't paid they send it to court. So as long as you pay your rent timely you are fine. that is by the 5th. by the tenth you will get a notice but if you pay before they send it to court all is good which is around the 19th of the month. That's 19 days leeway they give you to get things fixed and you can still fix it later but it will cost more for court costs. This is a corporate policy so it is just the way Sun homes does things and nothing personal. I think we have all seen situations in apartments and trailer courts where if the landlords are not on top of things you get a high turnover and additionally not so great place to live. Since we moved in we love the community and its close to everything. When we came looking for a place to live which was actually on memorial day 2014 we had a good feeing and wanted this place, we actually stopped to ask some folks about the schools for our 11 year old and ended up hanging out on their porch for over an hour just talking about living here and the pros and the cons. So far we are happy with the school though have a few probs with the teacher not the school. Elementary school at Chapel Glen has a policy that if your child doesn't do their home work its no recess for them they will do it during recess the next day. So I just wanted to express how glad we made this choice we have a nice yard a brand new trailer with a deck and shed 3 bedroom brand new appliances their were a few mild problems but nothing outstanding, the molding is cheap so breaks easy and thats about that on problems with the trailer. I have covered parking with a storage shed and a seperate shed in the yard all these are standard. they dont like you throwing big things away on the curb but if you go ask they will gladly open the maintenance area to let you uses the big industrial dumpster. Honestly I've had 2 great landlords in my 42 years and i would put craig/dru as one of those 2. ... more
