I can't give you a specific answer but I can say that purchasing a home is a process that will become clear to you as you see as many homes as possible, taking into consideration location, condition and pricing, among other things. I assume you have spoken with more than one realtor on the subject but it probably will come down to what your priorities are. In our area, most homes have public water and sewers so it is considered a positive with less complications to have this element. My advice is to stick to local advice and see as many possibilities as possible. Also, perhaps speak to local engineers who do inspections.
