Hi Karyn
I live near Seattle so noticed your question for Sonoma in the Seattle local Trulia. Thinking maybe it did not publish in Sonoma County so no answers?
I grew up in the Sonoma Mountains and went to high school in San Rafael. Lucky you to live in such a beautiful place.

On follow-up; I have two suggestions for you.

1) Google "New Homes for sale, Garland, Texas". The search results should provide you with examples of different homes, and perhaps you'll find a home that offers the features and finishes you have in mind?

2) Go to or, then search for homes in Garland, Texas. Both Trulia and Zillow provide an estimated price, and also a estimated cost per-square-foot.

That's probably the easiest way to get an idea of the price-per-square-foot in Garland, Texas.

Good luck!

I would guess somewhere in the neighborhood of $50k-75k. But, there are so many variables. Go to the city & see what it required. Then you will need an architect to design it, then get bids from contractors.

Good luck, Jirius Isaac

Howdy Zeus,

Your best bet is to contact 2 to 3 licensed and bonded deck builders to give you estimates. A reputable deck builder will give you a free estimate.

Good Luck

Dan is right - this is a question you need to ask a pool company. This is really outside of the scope of a real estate agent.

Sal - This is asking a bit much from an open forum. It sounds as like it may be time to contact a builder or real estate professional directly, whom you want to work with. Once you are a client, I'm sure they'll be happy to give you all the numbers you are asking for. ... more

Best way to get a good ideas is to connect with a good, experienced contractor/builder in the area, but
before getting any idea from them you need to give them a bit more information, where, what type of construction, how many levels, amenities and quality not just of the construction of the building itself but also
roof type, appliances, zoned systems or not etc. etc. and then once you have an app. idea remember once
you have the drawings done and a price, you will see as the home goes up you will want, a wall moved
a room enlarged, hardwood flooring of a better quality or no carpeting but hardwood etc. etc. and every change
or upgrade throughout the building process will cost you extra, make sure you build some extra money into
the process...

Good Luck to you....
