All of the buyers in my area have been testing for radon for many years.

It is considered part of the normal slew of inspections, along with inspections for structural items and wood boring insects. Most of the home inspectors in this area package radon testing as part of their full service. ... more

Sounds like more to the story here, maybe a good discussion with an attorney can shed a little more light on the subject. Seems more like other issues going on here than simply real property. Your right to quiet enjoyment of that property, for example. I am sure a competent attorney is able to advise you regarding your situation. You may not wish to sell property now, for example. Consider hiring an attorney and share all your details with them so they may better advise what is in your best interest. Selling now may not be, who knows.
