No, you can't. Some lenders might offer you a loan with a 580 credit score, but interest rates are based on a lender's risk. The higher the risk to the lender, the higher the cost to the borrower. Get your credit score up to about 640 before you try to buy a home.

Keep in mind that Trulia is just a marketing website designed to make a profit off of us agents with listings. It is a giant database that pulls listings from different sources, such as MLSs and public records. The data is notoriously outdated and inaccurate.

Since your home is not listed for sale, I wouldn't worry about it. If anything, I'd be happy it's not your house pictured in the photo! Most people on here complaining about inaccurate photos are usually worried about security and privacy and want the photos removed!

You should start by claiming the property. Under the main picture scroll over the button "Edit home facts". Then click on "Claim this home" Click on your name and it will probably prompt you through a series of steps to register and be able to change the pictures.

Whether the credit for closing costs shows up depends on how the credit is applied:

1. If the credit is applied to the buyers costs of closing the sales price will likely remain the same and thus the credit will not be reflected in the sales price, which in turn may be recorded in the county records.

2. If the credit is applied as a price reduction to the sales price the price recorded at the county will be lower than the originally agreed sales price of the home.

Some lenders prefer to see seller credits handled as a price reduction rather than as a credit on the closing statement. A credit on the closing statement can raise questions about seller kick-backs and that can slow down or derail a loan.

As a Realtor who specializes in Mableton, I would suggest only finishing the basement to the standard of how your home is on the main and upper levels. To do otherwise will hurt your ability to sell in a few years. If you are finishing the basement for just finishing the basement sake and don't plan on doing a lot while your are in it. You'd be better not not spending the money. I have a finished basement in my Mableton home as well and hardly use it unless I am entertaining friends. You will still need to heat and cool it although you may never use it. Just some quick thoughts. Good luck ... more

So while you're selling for less than you paid for it, pricing has been hit hard in your neighborhood this year. You're not really competing with other new construction within the neighborhood, but you competing with Legacy down the street. And if you can't come any lower to achieve your goals, you may be wasting your time.

From a marketing perspective, buyers like lots of pictures. It doesn't appear your virtual tour is working, so you'll want to get that fixed and be sure that the virtual tour is included on Realtor.com.

And the old adage of it only takes one buyer is true. First-time homebuyer activity has been brisk and the expectations are that it will continue through November 30th and then expect a drop-off afterwards as many first-time homebuyers are moving up their timeline to buy earlier than they originally planned. It could very well be like the push we saw when 100% financing disappeared. Sales spiked and then dropped dramatically as everyone tried to squeeze in under the deadline.
