There has never been a sewage treatment plant in Ludlow. There was one in the neighboring town of Bromley 25 - 30 years ago , but it was closed and a new facility was built approx. 5 miles from the prior site further down river in an unpopulated area. No foul odors in Ludlow or Bromley. Ludlow has until recently, been a sleepy little town, 8 minutes from downtown Cincinnati. It is awakening however, with the business district re-emerging, a beautiful new multi-condominium development now occupying prime real estate with spectacular views of the Cincinnati skyline as well as a Rhine like view of the lush hills of Kentucky hills and meandering Ohio River. Lots of great housing stock has brought a number of new homeowners into the community and the restoration and preservation movement is very strong. Considered today by realtors in the know as the hidden gem of Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati. Good school system, low crime, community/hometown pride, low property taxes and quick and easy access to downtown Cincinnati and major highways make this a desirable location for living and investment. ... more
