What areas are you interested in? Are you wanting to purchase them to rent out or haul out of their current location? Are you aware that mont rent/lease park/communities do not allow sub letting? Are you aware of the legal issues dealing with rent to own?

I would advise you to do some research before your head down this road. I've been in this industry for 3 decades and am currently a manufactured home dealer, manufactured home contractor, general contractor, real estate broker, developer, investor and property manager and have buying, fixing and flipping manufactured homes for decades.

I would be happy to discuss your intentions with you in detail privately if you wish. Please feel free to contact me anytime at 760 815-6977 or email me at onthelevel@cox.net

Hello Mary,

I would say the opposite is true.

Mature couples pose very little risk to a property owner. No worries about loud parties, or friends running in and out, not to mention mature people manage their finances better so they are low risk for skipping out on the rent.

Providing your social security income is enough to meet the monthly rent and other utilities, and your credit is in decent shape, you may win hands down over your younger counter parts.

Best of luck to you!!!!!

I would start looking now.

Also, just because your lease is up, you may still have the option to either renew your lease for another term or continue on a month to month basis with the same terms that are still in place.

Just because your lease term expires, it does not mean that you have to move. And, depending on what type of property you are renting and where it is located, you may be covered under Rent Control.

Let me know if I may be of assistance. I offer a FREE property search to renters and buyers.

All the best,

Kat
