We have been trying to sell our home in Long Valley for the past year - guess what - agents don't sell your home. They simply list it on multiple websites, sit back and put their feet up. The showing agents don't know anything about your home, they are just trying to sell a house, any house. So your house just sits because no one is actively selling it.

Unless you're willing to give your house away and pay a huge commission, don't bother to list it with an agent. It is a buyer's market now and the agents constantly beat you up about dropping the price. You will pay a high commission for zero selling of your house. Might as well sell it yourself and save that fee. There are plenty of "for sale by owner" websites and Zillow, Trulia and all let you list for free. We will be doing that when our current contract expires.

It is unfortunate but it does happen, once in a while. Your agency's company may subscribe to a company that is an 'aggregator' meaning that company broadcasts out to numerous. Sometimes the feed has a glitch and although it might be correct on all of the sites, sometimes one site doesn't accept the feed correctly.
I would ask your associate to contact the company which owns the site and manually have them correct it.
This will be fixed in no time.

You have to go to my listings on Trulia. If you do not see your listing, you type in the address. include zip code, and then you check the box that you are the owner of this listing. You can edit and add photos here as well. Most important is that you put your listing in Crestedg. If you do not know how to do that, ask your Administrator. Hello J Walton. Land is very unique to price. There are many factors to consider including if the property if flat, how much excavation needs to be done, can the land support a well/septic along with set-back restrictions on building due to wetlands, ponds and others.
