Great question! Questions regarding crime and safety on Long Beach buses are best referred to the local police and sheriff departments. They will have the most up to date and accurate information. A local agent is typically legally restricted from offering an "opinion" about such matters. ... more

I have sold several units in this building. It has a charming courtyard and looks very much like a New Orleans style building. This property does not have parking, but there is parking close that can be purchased on a monthly basis. The people that I have sold to love it for its charm and its closeness to lots of Downtown Long Beach activities. Just around the corner is the Passport Bus which is free and will take you to all the "hotspots". Most of the historic buildings built in the 1920-1930's do not have parking. If you would like some further information feel free to email me at bstrealtor@aol.com or call me at 714-296-7270.

The 710 freeway can get a bit congested due to the traffic heading in and out of the Port of Long Beach. Measures are in place to widen the freeway. The 405 and 710 experience normal rush hour traffic which I try to avoid, but within the city itself it is rare to find yourself bogged down in traffic unless you are attending one of our many very popular events like the Long Beach Grand Prix or if you choose to join us for our simply incredible July 4th fireworks display. We do have a lot of incredible events here that attract large audiences. At those times you could encounter traffic if you don't know how to avoid it. It is always avoidable by going wide and bypassing it. I rarely find myself stuck in traffic anywhere in Long Beach. I have included a link to a Long Beach Information page. Within these links you will find out much about the Long Beach area and our many events. ... more

The tag line of the Long Beach Transit System is: "WE MAKE IT EASY - Our mission at Long Beach Transit is to provide public transit services that enhance and improve the quality of life for the people in our community. We take pride in the fact that our annual surveys consistently document that 90% of Long Beach Transit customers rate our service as good or excellent." They do seem to achieve that. With buses, the infamous Blue Line, water taxi's, and the popular Passport service, Long Beach has it covered. I am including a link to a Long Beach City Guide for your convenience. ... more
