The HOA filed and evidently had a court date to get the judgment. You would have needed an attorney at the time of the court date. At this point the damage is done and the HOA will get their dues from your wages so they don’t need to negotiate. To be sure call an attorney who may give you 30 minutes at no cost, you never know.
