I think it really depends on what your lifestyle is. Litchfield county tends to have more "country" type setting but there are towns in other counties that would offer the same thing. You should focus on where in the state you would like to be... proximity to work, family, friends, etc.... then your price point.... then you should really contact a local realtor.

The foreclosing bank has to record a value on the town hall records. Since they are taking back the property they lended on to secure their interest, they simply record a nominal amount, not the amount they were owed. Hope that hepls! Todd ... more
