If you are represented by a realtor, your realtor is in charge of marketing. You cannot list your home for rent without your agent's approval. Your agent can list your home for rent and for sale at the same time. ... more

Ask your Realtor to provide you with recent sales that are similar to the property that you are interested in. If there are recent sales that were also foreclosures, you would then take into consideration the condition of the property as compared to the other sales. You also want to consider if you will be requesting any concessions and th length of time the property has been for sale to help determine the appropiate price. ... more

I agree with most of the answers.
Rent with option to buy is great for a seller in many ways:

You usually have a renter whom treats the home as if it is their own because hopefully it will soon be their own home.

You usually get list price for the home with very little negotiating of the price.

You get a large payment upfront.

I hope this helps.

I tried to do the same and Im a licensed RELATOR and it would not let me. In fact I had to give my phone which led to another REALTOR call me about it without disclosing that to me. As a consumer, I would claim about that deception! I would! Trulia wants agents to buy their service to gain leads generated by the supposed free offering of a listing - probably a minor computer glich- wink wink

Beebe and Scheisher are in two entirely different school districts. Beebe is in Naperville school district 203. Schiesher is in Lisle school district 202. Families must live inside the school district boundaries. The school district boundaries supersede the town boundaries. I know it does not make much sense. Call the district office and discuss the issue with the school district personnel. ... more

Jackie Beardsley answered:
Serious mold issues are just that, serious. Mold is airborne and a big concern in the industry has been agents listing these distressed properties without any mention on the MLS as to the extent of mold in the home. Agents have been bringing clients into these homes only to find out once they are already inside that there are very extensive mold issues. Agents who list these homes need to make note of this on the MLS and agents showing them should take the precautions necessary. The other two agents answered your questions. Only a professional inspector who tests for mold can answer that. ... more

Hi Joe, present the plans and/or your ideas to the Building Dept at Lisle to see what they have to say. The manufacturer may have some idea or be able to provide you enough info, specs, details with which you can go to Lisle.

Good Luck and let us know what they say.
