The best way to find a property is by hiring a REALTOR, we have access to real-time inventory. For example: this property was available 3/22/2012 and they accepted the offer on 04/09/2012.

The fact that it has a Notice of Default may be to your advantage, but we need to do more research. As you can see the other websites don't have the up to date information as we Realtors because we have direct access to the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) with real time information (most of the time). I would love to work with you and find you a property, here is my process:
1. Get you PreApproved or your letter of preapproval
2. Look for properties that are within your approval amount
3. Write offer
4. Follow terms of the contract
5. Give you keys

I'm a realtor in that area and know that these town homes were not originally built with central air. Over the years a few owners have put it in. For this specific one, there is no way of telling you for sure. My advice is to drive the street and see if there is a for rent sign and call the number on the sign.

Many times you will find the rental does not exist. Either its old data or it’s a scam. Wish you all the best in finding a rental.

By the way, your price range here is a mortgage payment in today’s market. Have you considered the possibility that you could become a homeowner rather than pay someone else's mortgage? If you would like to talk about that option, give me a call.
