Doesn't Pass The Smell Test answered:
We are in Oregon. Our Agent has expressed fustration regarding the lack of response to her emails and telephone calls to the listing agent for Homesteps. I understand the listing agent is also expressing fustration with his dealings with Homesteps in as far as not being able to contact just one person and also he lack of a human contact (he claims everything is done on the internet). In the meantime the damage to the house is getting worse from all the rain. Our agent says she will call the listing agent every day but the listing agent blames Homesteps. We have purchased two homes in the past and never run into this. We placed our initial offer in January, we are ready, willing and able and should have already closed. I don't understand. It has been suggested to us the listing agent/Homesteps is hoping for a better offer however our offer was accepted already. We qualify for the 8,000.00 credit but time is running out for us.Thank you for any and all help given, it is sincerely appreciated. ... more
