Hi Karine,
Trulia is a agent only website, but we do offer different options for our sellers, it's not you typical listing agreement! If you would like to learn more and discuss it you can contact me at: I would be happy to help you! Please put listing options in the subject line.

I am sure you know a CMA is the best estimate of value so hop onto MLS and do a comprehensive CMA.

If you are a for sale by owner the post is not allowed, you can however try blogging about the property; if and when you do list with an agent, he/she can post it for you, ask; or consider any flat fee realty company that feeds into the site. ... more

I am totally frustrated by Trulia! I try to do a search and all I get are "fake" listings by Realty Trac. Realty Trac has taken over your website and if you continue to permit this you will continue to lose customers. Something needs to be done so this company doesn't destroy your business. Very frustrating! ... more

Maybe it's been corrected. Just the other day the average sales price was listed far above reality - something over a $1million. In our local paper the average sales price in 34135 is substantially under this number. Average $/sf has consistently been well under $100/sf. ... more

Looks like you already received some good information below. $60K-$80K is not realistic for a gulf access home as stated below. You can find very nice condos on a canal for less than single family homes. However, there are monthly condo fees and you would need to make sure the association is finacially sound. Please feel free to contact me if you have addtional questions. Have a great night.

Dawn Ohnstad answered:
The problem of time wasting occurs when a home is listed on the bigger reciprocity sites (like Trulia or for example). These sites "pull" from the regional MLS and can take a day or two to catch up with changes in price or status. The best way I have found to avoid wasting your time as a buyer, is to work with an agent who uses Listingbook. This is a tool which the agent can give you which pulls directly from the MLS to you. It is updated every 30 minutes and will eliminate this time wasting gap in the information you are getting. I use Listingbook and would by happy to help you. Please visit our site to learn more at We provide a free Listingbook connection to all our clients.

Hi Dotty,

Thank you for using Trulia Voices! Your listing at is now live for sale on our site. Listings that have remained unchanged for an extended length of time becomes "No longer for sale". In order to bring the listings back to active for sale status on our site, you can update the listing information within the data feed submitted to Trulia. Once updated, it will take approximately 24-48 hours for the changes to take effect on our site.
