I have lived in Lawton 49 years. My husband and I own 2 duplexes by Cameron University, The evaluation of crime in the area is green LOW. It is a great place to live that is convenient to restaurants, downtown shopping, CCMH, and Ft Sill. When you look at a listing on Trulia, look at the crime rating and that will tell you. Almost every area of Lawton has good and bad pockets. Lee Blvd has some good additions and some high crime ones. It would not be my gauge as to where to live. ... more

Normally the buyer agent would complete a broker price opinion and show you what the house is worth. If you have signed anything with them, you may be stuck . Ask them for a broker price opinion and go over the sales to see what it is worth, base your offer on that, if seller is still to high, move on ... more

We live off 67th, currently renting on arrowhead dr. I can tell you the area is quiet and safe. I wouldn't recommend our house by any means, the one we are renting and about to move out of has two brown garage doors. The other houses around here, especially one for sale directly behind us in black mesa is newly remodeled and beautiful. This area is very pretty. It depends if you are on the mortgage, or the deed or your states law regarding ownership or debt. You may want to check with a local lawyer or can even dispute the credit report
