They just moved in on 6/1, today is 7/26. I heard the news through other tenant in the same building. Should I wait til 8/1 to see if rent is paid. If not, start eviction right away?

Nobody on Trulia can answer your question. You need to take action. Go to the county tax assessor's office and get the contact information as to who is paying the property taxes. Find out the contact information for the bank and you need to speak to people to find out what the status is and what their agenda is going forward.

Bottom line - if you are a next door neighbor, they will listen. If you're not, they will want to know how does this concern you unless you intend to buy this property.

Are you in the process of buying a condo? If so have your buyers agent ask the listing agent for the Condo By laws, this should be relatively easy for the listing agent to get for you.
