You are definitely not the first to be upset about the zestimate and its inaccuracy. Agents have to explain to clients that the values are inaccurate on a daily basis. The bigger Zillow gets the more people want to argue that the zestimate i accurate. It is frustrating for everyone involved.

For an accurate value please send us the address here and we will send you a free CMA for the homes value: http://www.lvrealestatehelp.com/selling-real-estate.html

Yes, properties can be featured - other searches allow you to select how you want properties to be sorted (thus affecting how the property "ranks" in the results).

Featured properties seem to lean to properties that have had paid promotion or the other properties of the agents who have promoted properties. ... more

Although the other agents are right about the tax record, I believe your info is pulling off the MLS system from the listing when you bought the home in 2009. (It was 5BR in 2003.) Agents enter almost all the info on MLS except location and total s.f. Legally, NV RED requires MLS list a bedroom as having a window, a closet, and a door. Otherwise, it is considered an office, den, loft, etc., (rooms which Trulia currently ignores.) If the prior listing agent was incorrect or you remodeled, without relisting your property and it still really bugs you, you can try and call GLVAR directly and have the MLS dept make the correction, although they might not deal with the public. 702-784-5000 But you do have the 2003 MLS in your favor for an easy fix. However, your overall property values are more linked to overall square footage and an extra bedroom might bump you $1,000 on an actual appraisal, keeping in mind that I'm a Realtor, not an appraiser. There is a comparable home for sale right now on Mt Creek for $950,000, compared to the Trulia estimate. Both are simple guidelines without paying for an appraisal.

If I'm wrong and you actually need/want to call the CC assessor, they won't do anything without an appraisal, so in my book you'll be spending $500 to gain $1,000.

You can contact the listing agent who will be able to help you learn more about that specific property (and probably will know a lot about similar properties in the area). To find an agent, just click on the yellow button on the property's Trulia listing and you will be able to start a dialogue.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can help with anything else. I am happy to be a resource for you. Good luck with the search!

Hi Joe,

On our search results page, like the one below, you can continue to add locations until you've got your requirements covered. You can then use the menu's on the left to input any other criteria you may have regarding price, bedrooms, baths, etc. Once you're done with that, you can use the options at the very top of that menu to save your search, or sign up to receive email alerts when new listings that match your criteria are added to our site.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi Wayne,

I'm afraid that our Stats & Trend reports cannot be modified to show specific weeks in the past. Keep in mind however that Average Listing Price we show on the following page is for the most recent week.

http://www.trulia.com/real_estate/Las_Vegas-Nevada/

And if you're checking out market trends on this page, you can change the graphs to display information for 1 year or 5 year periods rather than the 10 year periods we show by default.

http://www.trulia.com/real_estate/Las_Vegas-Nevada/market-trends/

I will share your request to make this information display more flexible with my colleagues. If you have any other feedback, please don't hesitate to share it with us.

Wayne,

Trulia is a Residential Real Estate site, so they do not track information on Commercial. That is something you will need to consult with a Commerical Real Estate Professional, such as John Brassner, as recommended.

As John states below, he can put this information together for you, but it will be a custom analysis; Commerical works much different than Residential. I briefly searched google for commerical analysis, and found that you will not find any free information.

As John state, he can help you with the analytics that you are looking for, but their will be a cost to his services, as it is very specialized. Good luck.
