The inspection was 100% for the buyer's benefit and 100% a buyer's cost (unless previously negotiated) and may even have played a part in their deciding to cancel.

As long as they cancelled within their inspection time frame there was no harm, no foul to either side but if they cancelled after that time frame expired they may very well owe the seller.

Just say 'No'.
