They can be purchased at the monthly KNO meetings. The price is $30.

KNO meetings are held on the 10th of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Turner Monumental AME Church on Howard Street in Kirkwood.

Of course I think my street is the best street in Kirkwood! I am generally attracted to the streets that aren't usual cut-throughs for cars, like the north side of Clifton, the dead end section of Branham, the northernest part of Warren or Locust.

Howard Street is chock full of large, victorian style homes, some of which are on the historic registry. It's a very desirable street in Kirkwood.

It all depends on what you like! The streets bordering Bessie Branham Park provide a variety of activity for you to watch from your front porch. Rocky Ford and Delano are main thoroughfares cutting through Kirkwood: "from there you can get to anywhere." Do you want to be close to Downtown Kirkwood? Do you want to be close to paths for walking and bicycling? Do you want to be close to the school? Why not live right on Kirkwood Road in Kirkwood?

Think about what kind of environment you'd like surrounding your home, and Kirkwood has a street just perfect for you!

www.realvaluator.com shows pricing for Foreclosures, Pre-Foreclosures, and Sales in the area for free. I would recommend doing some research to make sure that you find the right house at the right price.

Best of luck in your homebuying process.

The Spring Fling certainly brought out A LOT of people. I polled the hundred or so I saw. Out of town guests, home owners from Inman Park and Edgewood as well as Kirkwood. There were some prospective buyers in the crowd too. It is May, almost June, so this is the time of year where there are a growing # of home buyers out shopping. Some need to sell first, some don't. My advice is to clear doubt and indecision from your mind and make strong decisive decisions based on You and only YOU what is best for you and what you will be happy with today and until you sell. ... more

Sounds like FUN Sean! Seems like this 'drought' keeps messing with Atlanta's neighborhood's festivals and events. The Grant Park Springfling was rain-out twice and is now re-scheduled for May 17 and in conjunction with Grant Parks's 125 year celebration. Should be fun through-out Atlanta! ... more

Des, Many foreclosed homes are not on the market, but are being 'processed' with the bank(s). We have several agents in our office whom work with banks and these foreclosed properties. I'd be glad to forward you the pre-list homes, as they are getting ready to be listed. You'll be able to drive by and see if you're interested in the home for when it's put in the MLS for sale. This is not a pre-list sale situation.. just information of pre-list homes that you can begin your due-diligence and financing.

If you're interested let me know.
