Honestly, it may be possible but I would focus on finding a home to rent and then working on your credit. Owner financing will cost you a lot and also require you to make a substantial down payment. While I have helped many clients find owner finance properties there is a lot to know. For one, the market is hot so if a seller is considering owner financing you are probably overpaying plus you will need to put up a lot of cash for the option.

So I recommend renting a place and working hard to improve your credit and save money for a down payment. That is probably in most cases going to be the best way forward for you.

Hope this helps.

Hello Kayleigh,

This home in Kingwood has four bedrooms, plus study, gameroom and formals. It is 4652 sq. ft. and has 4 bathrooms. This house comes with a pool. It has no backyard neighbors per the listing agent. Hardwood floors were installed in March 2013. There is a detailed list of upgrades done mostly in the last 3 years.

Regarding the question as to whether everything functions properly, that would best be determined by an inspector that conducts the inspection detailing various aspects of the house once you make an offer and sign the contract. This is done during the Option Period. You may be aware that a buyer has to pay for this inspection.

The tax rate is 2.91 and the Home Owners Maintenance per the listing is $585 yearly.

If you haven't already spoken with a lender, please check on it so you have an idea of your budget and how much down payment you will have to come up with. There will be other closing costs that you will have to keep in mind besides this down payment.

Is there anything else that you would like to find out? Best way to reach me is at the contact information below.
