Not sure I'm following you. Is your home listed for sale? With an agent, or FSBO? If you accept a buyer's lease/purchase and you sign a contract with that person, then NO you can't keep marketing the property for sale. You signed a legal contract and you're committed to that renter/buyer. (BTW -- lease purchase situations can be very complex and not that great of an option anymore).

Sounds like you have legal questions that need to be answered by an attorney.

Kingston is a nice place to live. There is a lot of history there and beautiful old stone houses.

There are some excellent teachers in the schools which means your kids can get a good education.
Higher taxes accomplish this. IBM came in there around 1955 and prices soared. Then they pulled out and the market dropped through the floor. Basically, values ultimately settled down and
became stable again. It's a darn shame when a big corporation does this to a sleepy old town. Generations of the same families still live there. They must like it!
