Isn't it nice to see that nothing has changed in King and Queen County since January 2010? It's almost January 2013 and there remains NO shopping, entertainment or employment potential in the county. And, its schools have shown nominal improvement. On the upside, it is a VERY safe, small population, rural-like community ... DO NOT confuse this with "rural" ... within reasonable driving distance to the necessities of life ... shopping, entertainment, domestic and international transportation systems, medical care and even education if you choose to fund it, privately. Then, again even though the county real estate tax assessments and tax rates ROSE in 2012 ... can you believe it?... we're still one of the best valued counties for anyone looking to buy real estate in Virginia. Recommend King and Queen County living to retirees, the childless, or anyone wanting a quasi-rural lifestyle and having the cash flow to fund the deficiencies you will find here.
