I don't do property management myself, but there are plenty of people in Key West who do! Their fees run from around 10% for basic management (ie: collect rent, call in a plumber when needed, etc) all the way up to 45% when they find and book the clients, provide maid and linen service, etc. Typically, if you want to find your own clients, you can get someone else to manage that for between 10 and 20%. And with the ease of online rental sites (HomeAway, VRBO, etc), you can do that yourself without a lot of effort (you can put in on autopilot where the renters find the dates they want on the online calendar, book it and pay by credit card with no involvement from you!).
