DON'T EVER BUY ANY APARTMENTS IN THIS COOP WHICH IS A SCAM! ANYBODY TELLS YOU OTHERWISE AND SAYS THAT IT'S A GREAT INVESTMENT IS MOST LIKELY ON THE BOARD, A RELATIVE OF A BOARD MEMBER, IN BED WITH THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY OR THEIR LAWYERS, WHO ARE MOST LIKELY SCUMBAGS. JUST TAKE A LOOK AT ALL OF THE PROPERTIES THAT THE SAME LAWYER REPRESENTS AND ALL OF THE COMPLAINTS AND PROBLEMS RESIDENTS HAVE HAD. SAME NONSENSE. IF YOU ARE NOT DONALD TRUMP, YOU CANNOT WRITE OFF YOUR LOSSES AND DECLARE BANKRUPTCY AND THE STATE WILL MAKE YOU PAY TAXES ON YOUR FORECLOSED APT. AND THE ANTIQUATED LAW THAT WE HAVE SAYS THE COOP BOARD CAN DO WHATEVER THEY WANT, NO QUESTIONS ASKED, BECAUSE THE LAW PROTECTS THEM. DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR AND DON'T EVER BUY A COOP, ESPECIALLY ONE AT THIS DUMP! THIS IS COMING FROM SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY LIVED THROUGH THE OSHA DEBACLE AND THE INCOMPETENCE OF THE BOARD THAT SPENT $20 MILLION ON A NEW HEATING SYSTEM. I WAS A HOMEOWNER THERE AND WE WERE FORCED TO FORECLOSED BECAUSE THE COOP BOARD LIED WHEN WE FIRST BOUGHT ABOUT THEIR FINANCIAL SITUATION AND THEY DON'T HAVE TO BE HELD CRIMINALLY LIABLE FOR WHAT THEY DID. HAD WE AND OUR ATTORNEY BEEN TOLD THE TRUTH WE WOULD HAVE NEVER BOUGHT THERE. DON'T BELIEVE THE BOARD OR THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY, BELIEVE THE PEOPLE WHO LIVED THERE AND BOUGHT THERE. ... more

Your FICO score is not terrible. Would get letters from Employer or past LL's & explain why your credit score was compromised. Works for many of my clients. Allan

Not a professional; just a homebuyer who looked at Parkway Village for years and found the same problems and benefits that you did. A quick Google search reveals a long history of alleged poor management and fiscal problems with collapsing physical infrastructure. I personally ask myself this: if maintenance is sky-high now, what will it be when they finally decide to fix the facades that are currently in such poor repair? In my opinion, given the maintenance charges there, the Village should be in fabulous condition and anyone can see that it is not. ... more

Hi Shirley. I am well aware of Dara Gardens. Regarding prices, they are very reasonable and you get a good value as the apartment sizes while not hugh, are certainly well sized.

The complex is very well maintained. Here's their website:

If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact me directly.

Listings are sydicated so they could pop up on many different sites, the price difference could be due to a lag time from an edit to when it gets posted.

Hi Geir,

Parkway Village is absolutely lovely, however, the maintenance on a 2 bedroom garden apartment is approximately $1073. If that is something you and the family would consider as a feasible partial tax write off, then I live minutes away and would be more than happy to show you a GB that is available there, or something of your choice in the general neighborhood with lower maintenance costs.
