I believe the market is on the rise - we are kind of running out of inventory. Seem to be in quite a few multiple offer situations. Some of my listings that have been a little stagnent are finally moving. I'm encouraged. I think Spring will be very active. I do my business mainly in Lake County, Illinois and Kenosha County, Wisconsin. ... more

Hello,

Being born and raised here I can see there has been a steady influx of new residents and new development in the past 5 years. Current conditions are still a buyer's market however, but many of the best listings sell quickly.

Located between two major cities, I think Kenosha has become a very desirable place to live with good schools, entertainment, great lakefront, and many people who commute seeking residence here.

Thank you for inquiring about the property at 2319-27th Street in Kenosha and asking why there are no pictures?

Depending upon the "type" of sale, some Real Estate Agents will choose not to take pictures other than the Front of the House Photo and maybe a few yard photos. The reason for this is often because the interior of the home needs TLC (tender loving care) or complete rehabbing and pictures would not be a top selling point.

If the location of the home and the price are two factors for your decision to see a home, it's easy to call a Realtor and ask for a private showing. Pictures can be deceiving ... and you ultimately want and need to get inside to See, Touch, Feel and Smell ... Once you get through the property you can ascertain the condition and decide if this is a property worthy of your making an Offer to Purchase.

Pictures are wonderful, and buyers want pictures ... but there are some situations where pictures are not a Selling Point. Don't pass up a Diamond in the Rough for lack of photos.

Wishing you great success in your Home Search!

Hello Diana and Ron, from what I am hearing and seeing, the market has not yet bottomed out. According latest data, there will be another 4 million homes going into foreclosure this year of 2010. We will see the market decline more after the tax credit ends. With the announcement from the FDIC, after June the Government will not be buying down interest’s rates, so interests rates are going to go up. In return, fewer buyers will be qualifying for loans.

Home prices are expected to fall another 12 to 20 percents nationwide. I believe we will be in this type of market for at least 5 more years, because of short sales and foreclosures, this will continue to drive down home prices. Great time to be a buyer!
