If you have an eviction, you need to know that landlords look at it that your eviction could have been prevented. Evictions usually means non payment of rent. So if you lost your job, had a medical crisis, etc. what did you do that prevented you from paying your rent on time? If you collected unemployment insurance, why didn't you use that money to pay your rent? Did you have any cash saved to pay your rent with? If not, why didn't you save some money before? If you had a medical crisis, did you have health insurance?
Landlords don't want to hear it was somebody else's fault. If the lease was in your name, then it was your fault. If you were month to month, did you stay longer than the 30 or 60 day notice? That would have been your fault.
