How detailed was the price analysis of the agent? Did they give you comps of similar houses nearby, or did they just give you general market data for your area? If the latter, you clearly need to talk to a new agent.

But in any case, it's not really a matter of how many to talk to. If the first one gives you everything you need, there's no need to talk to more. If you talk to 10 and they still don't meet your needs, you need to talk to number eleven.

A bit of advise though. I would look at their current listings (if they have any in this market), and look at the pictures to see the quality. You don't want to get an agent that just uses their smartphone camera (unless maybe the property is a fixer). Look to see if their listings appear on Zillow, Trulia and Those sites are horrible sites for buyers to be looking, but as a seller you don't care about that--you want to capture those buyers! Ask the agent how many open houses and broker opens that they plan to do, and ask if your area is strong enough that they would advise an "offer review date" or even that you maybe rent a hotel room the first X days of the listing. There are lots of things you need to find out.

Some words of caution though. 1. Some agents recommend sellers do their own inspection prior to listing, or that the listing encourage pre-inspections. Opinions do vary on that, but IMHO neither of those things is good for a seller, they only make the agent's job easier at increased risk to the seller. 2. Agents have all sorts of things they can say which sound good, but are not (e.g. I'll cut the commission if the buyer is unrepresented). Worry about presentations that seem too polished--they are likely just "scripts" of such nonsense.
