In Minnesota, for residential real estate, it must be tendered and deposited within 3 business days after final acceptance by both buyer and seller. That means, if everyone is in agreement about all of the terms of the purchase, they have 3 days to get it in the bank. I will say that any person had the same question and there is no answer.

From Investors selling the note at discount to other investors, banks just watting for the property to show on their list of available to no body knows.

Last foreclosure I follor, it took 4 months to go for sale. Another , one of my listings, it's been more than a year, and has not been for sale as of today.

So, just wait.

What county are you looking for those properties?

Benito is correct, if the property is just getting to the sheriffs sale the process should not change much and you could still get your offer accepted. If the property is nearing the end of redemption then you will have to wait for the bank to list the property for sale (which can take anywhere from a few weeks to a year plus) to make a new offer. ... more
