The entire build should have been put into the contract (it is still considered new construction) outlining EXACTLY what you are paying for. I would think your lender should have something to say about these things.
Purchasing a home is a legal contract, so if you try to break it and back out without just cause then there are options to the builder. It just sounds like you are not sure what you signed and don't have a buyer agent to help you.
