Rental listings are posted through Postlet.com; a company owned by Zillow that also now owns Trulia. Go back to your Postlet.com log-on page and delete the posting. Your rental listing will be removed from Trulia, Zillow and several other websites within 48 hours. ... more

The system may be over riding them if they are also coming from another source. Certain sources take priority over others. You can also check to make sure the Trulia box is checked when you go to the promotion tab of your Postlet.

Jessica - just as an FYI, since you're new to trulia and may not know - look under the question - you will see the date when it was first posted - this one was posted almost a year ago.....

Doubt this person is still trying to upload his listing, not to mention, he already got the answer he was looking for.

Also, if you let the mouse hover over his picture (avatar), you will see it says "Home Seller", so you can see that he is not a Realtor

Trulia Customer Service answered:
Dear Karen,

Niki from Trulia Customer Service here. Thank you for contacting us regarding the information showing on your listings.

Trulia is a host site, where information is sent to us from syndication websites. We do not pull listing data from the MLS, or any other site. Any listing information showing on our site is being actively submitted to our site. We show the information from the source considered most reliable for each address, and the source of that information is shown as the "provided by" and in most cases the "Broker" for the listing. It is best to correct the feed source of your listings, as they are probably syndicating information to other websites as well.

We are happy to help you with listing claims or other listing issues. Please feel free to contact us directly at customerservice@trulia.com, or by phone 1-888-466-3501, Monday - Friday 7am to 4pm PST.

Ray Wright answered:
The info on Trulia is merely Public record. Once your home is listed, Trulia will add that info to their site (typically within a few days). Once the home is no longer listed or sells, Trulia updates their site again (again, usually a few days later).

Go ahead and list your home. The site will update within a few days.

Trulia Customer Service answered:
Hi Andre,

Niki from Trulia here. We are excited that you are using Trulia!

Trulia is a search engine for residential real estate listings that are indexed from agent/broker web pages. Our service is free, and there is no charge to have listings posted on Trulia. However the "for sale" listing must be submitted by a real estate professional.

Although we are aware that many individuals who have For Sale By Owner (FSBO) listings would like to have their listings featured on Trulia, at this time we do not add FSBO listings.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions by emailing customersupport@trulia.com or by calling 1-888-466-3501 Monday - Friday 7am to 4pm PST.

Andrew Wilkinson answered:
Hi there Shauna,

Unfortunately, we do not offer the ability for homeowners and home sellers to list their own home on Trulia.com. In order to get your home listed for sale on our site, you will need to work with a real estate professional.

To find a real estate professional, and see reviews of them by your friends and family, you should check out our 'Find A Pro' tool: http://bit.ly/HzqQVy

Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with,

Andrew

I work at G&A with Cindy and I'll notify her of your situation on Trulia. Thanks and best of luck on your new listing! Thanks!

Hi Pamela,

Your listing needs to be updated to refresh it on Trulia. To do this, go into the listing source on Visual Tour and make a change to the description, even just adding a period or comma will tell us that it is still a live listing.

Realty Trac is not a listing or selling firm, they simply take information from foreclosure notices and public notices and compile them into what you see. They are in the business of selling infomrtaion, they want someone to click on their link and subscribe to them to find out more information. Sites like trulia then pick up teh realty trac feed, and publish it here. You will need to contact realty trac direct as chances are they are not going to see your posts here. ... more

Hi there - planned to respond but see that Emily has provided you the info you need. Talk to your firm, and if you are not the agent, then ask your listing agent to follow up with the listing firm to ensure that the correction is made to the feed.
