Kannapolis is a melting pot. There are a mix of Blacks, Whites, Hispanics, Indians, Asians, etc. You would not feel out of place in any part of Kannapolis. I am a life long resident. I have watched Kannapolis grow from a small no name city, to having a bus system, a baseball team, some of the best hospitals in the area and being nominated and winning an award for being one of America's all time favorite home town cities.

Its location is close enough to Charlotte, the mountains, the beaches (North and South Carolina) just hours away from Atlanta, Charleston and the Triad region of NC (Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill. It has access to google fiber and major other companies that are nearby.

Lake Norman, Lake Wylie and the High Rock lake are all within a stone's throw from Kannapolis.

As far as recommendations, the Moose road area would be a good choice for a Caucasian family with two kids. The area is close to Lake fisher, The Intimidators baseball team, Interstate 85, and all other major cities in and around the area.

A second level review is not necessarily bad. MI if you are putting less than 20% down would also not be unexpected. This seems like a decent cul-de-sac location in a more rural setting where neighbors should probably not mind your having a pet. Good afternoon, JDubb:
To see if you might qualify, you should follow the below link and read the Trulia Blog Can I get a Home or Am I Stuck Renting? If you meet this basic criterion, we can work with you to find you a lender and when we know what the lender is willing to do for you, we can work on finding you a home which fits that financing. We are HUD registered brokers if you are wanting to explore that $100 down program for buying government owned homes. We are also familiar with other 1st time buyer programs. If you have a full time agent with a Masters degree in Planning with Finance and over two decades of experience, working for you, you will likely do better in negotiations. I'd be pleased to provide that service. ... if you appreciate this answer, please give it a "thumbs up", or if this was the most helpful answer, please say thanks with a "best answer" click . ... more

Tamara Martin answered:
OK so I did not know how to link to the answers below. So I am writing in the answer spot. My agent was awesome. She did everything that she was suppose to. My Home inspector did everything he was suppose to. My attorney friend has stated that the seller, on the disclaimer, was suppose to let me know about the permit and since he did not it is considered fraud. The home inspection was fine and passed. But he was not able to check to see if there was footers or not on the new addition. He is also not able to let me know if the construction part was done correctly, due to the walls are there. I was unaware that a permit was suppose to be pulled when he was building the addition on to the house. No one disclosed that information to me. The seller also built a deck over the septic tank, which the septic inspector did not let me know that it could not be like that. The home inspector did not know where the septic was or he would of told me that. It is a buyer be ware state and I understand that. When, as a buyer, you do every inspection as needed and go above the norm, why is it that the buyer is the one to suffer and have more expense when the seller did not disclose all the information he was suppose to? So for all real estate groups, make sure to tell the buyer or seller to make sure that all permits are there. If the seller does not disclose weither or not the permit is there, in the disclaimer part of the closing, it is consider fraud and the buyer can fill suite against the seller. Again, my agent is still a wonderful agent and continues to help me through this mess, even though she has finished her job. ... more

Undetermined when the lender would foreclose on the property could be 3 months - 12 months based on many factors involved.

OR the property owner could bring the payments current everything is then taken care of .

If the home is foreclosed on the resident of the property SHOULD start to receive notices HOWEVER best resolve these issues with property owner IF necessary start to search for a new location

One Property Source answered:

There are a multitude of reasons. The main thing is to speak to your listing broker. He is very much akin to the marketing manager for your property. The main question that will answer all the others would be to ask what is the marketing plan for your home. It is important to have a valid set of expectations on the manner in which your property is or is going to promoted.
