The following are sources to determine water/irrigation rights on the property under consideration: Copies of the claim abstract, original 1982 water right claim file and associated supporting material, property deeds (including any severances), irrigation ditch contracts, Montana Water resources survey Maps and any Statement of Claims within the associated township and range to include discrepancies or overlaps to legal descriptions, Historical use indicated by topographical maps, site visits with current owner, others on the water system, and water commissioner (if one), DNRC website verification of water senority and reliability of water source, and any water use permits post June 30, 1973 to verify permit has been perfected
