Busydrmom,

A lot has to do with what your lifestyle is and where you want to live. In Jupiter that can range from rural settings west of the Turnpike to traditional neighborhoods close to the water just steps to the beach to private clubs tucked away from the rest of the world. As the market continues to thrive and new land nonexistent we are seeing a lot of tear down activity in the best locations.

No doubt your budget will also play a very important role. If you want an acre and a half on the Loxahatchee River with some of widest water views in town there is a great opportunity on the market for just under $3,500,000. If you want an acre west of town in an area like Jupiter Farms there are opportunities as low as $70,000. And everything in between there is still an option for your dream home.

The market has made an amazing turnaround in a very short span of time and you may be interested in what has happen to the median home price in the Jupiter area over the past few months. You can read our latest article hot off the presses at this link;

Also be very careful when selecting a builder and if you are introduced by a Realtor® what kind of fee the builder may be paying to them Full disclosure and competition is the key. Having been a licensed contractor in two different states I know the ropes and if you want any help in putting in place a plan to get that dream house started and finished please feel free to contact me at your convenience. the very best of luck to you as building a custom home can be a dream but can also be a very frustrating experience.
