I owned in condo 1 for 20 years (and condo 2 for 13), but recently sold my condo 1 unit, and the office actually went out of the way to get any problems solved! It is much older, but has the most character, and has a few high quality employees in office. Condo 2 is out of litigation, so free from of any mortgage bumps on that. Either one is a great place to live as far as space and quality if you enjoy lots of neighbors and all their opinions. ... more

Hi, I used to live in Jersey City as well, 7th St between Jersey and Coles to be exact. Depending on your price range and criteria you may have some good options in Westchester County. If you feel like providing more information I would be happy to assist.

Like others have suggested, you may have the best luck with a real estate agent. They will have connections with local property management companies. In my experience, these firms usually have control over the apartment rental sector.

If you are looking for a charming 5 bedroom home for sale in Ridgewood, NJ, I am the owner of one. I recently moved to Connecticut and have decided to sell my Ridgewood home. It is in a prime location. Children can walk to schools and town. The address is 175 Melrose Place, Ridgewood, NJ 07450. Deborah Innocenti, Coldwell Banker, is handling it. (201) 213-3715. She is investor friendly. This home is actually great for an investor. I have had a tenant in the house since April. Her lease is up and so we are currently re-renting it while listing it for sale as well. The home is listed at $740,000. Best, Laura Wellington ... more

Hello Again Tim -

Most large residential buildings have monthly exterminations that take care of the usual pests. Mold would come up in your inspection. I have sold units in that building and haven't come up against any mold issues. ... more

The Beacon complex itself is gated and guarded with a dog run. I think it would be safe for you. Any issues with the area around the Beacon you would need to research for yourself. Realtors are not allowed to make judgement calls about the "safeness" of any area.

In addition to the Beacon, there are luxury high rises on the waterfront in Jersey City. This is a lovely area but $2200 would be about the bottom of the rental market in these buildings.

There are many viable places to live in NJ that will give you safety for your family, activities for all ages and still be only 30 minutes to your office in Jersey City. Most 3 bedroom home rentals start around $2,500 and go up depending on the location. If you want to learn more about the many opportunities available to you, don't hesitate to give me a call.

Hi Allen,

Although I consider myself a very intelligent person I am smart enough to surround myself with experts in varying fields. If I do not know something I know where to go to find out the answers.

With that said, if you want to find a one-stop shop I am not your Realtor as no one can know everything, however, if you want someone who will put you FIRST, you FOUND HIM!

Give me a call at 973.868.4034 or e-mail me at to discuss what exactly it is that you are looking for.

Best regards,
