Do not move to Southern Trace. Residents to not care about speeding. The neighborhood is treated like a drag strip. Bad area for families with kids.

There have been previous listings of this home in the MLS, the most recent being in 2007, and that listing has since expired without a sale. The tax records show its most recent sale was in 2006. A home two doors down sold on 09/20/2012, but that and one other at 4960 appear to be the most recent sales in the neighborhood. I think we all would be curious to know how you found out about this house on Trulia. After viewing their listing, I believe this may be a "generic listing" that isn't really for sale, but a representation of what it might be if it were, since there is only an "estimated price" shown and no listing agent contact information. This appears to be one of the tricks that Trulia uses to get buyers to call agents that advertise with them. ... more

When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase, or not, in specific neighborhoods.
