Biggest disadvantages: flood insurance, mosquitos, actual floods

Solutions: deep woods OFF!, there are spray traps that can be used to ward off (it's what the local country clubs do), consult a flood insurance pro (changes are being made and could change your monthly expenses quite a bit), put a kayak on your roof (haha ok not really).

Any other general questions, feel free to contact me directly!

There is currently one 3/2 available in Mira Vista and one available in The Peninsula that are $239,000 and $220,000 in the same order. There are also a great many other condos and townhomes available in other neighborhoods on James Island. Let me know and I will send them to you!

I have included a link in my response to info on the 2 homes.

I would contact anyone with MLS access and have them do a search for you. Most realtors and property managers have this. They can do a precise search based on your needs and wants and pull up what is available. The problem with just looking for a company that markets their listings is that they will push you towards what they have a personally manage. Usually they don't get paid until they have renters and their fee is typically 8%-10% of the monthly rents. ... more
