Will banks give more of a discount for an Investor to buy an occupied property?

Asked by Joe Lombardo, LINDENHURST, NY Wed Jun 12, 2013

Investors who buy occupied property have to spend time and money on attorneys evicting tenants. Do Banks take this into consideration and give a deeper discount for the Investor willing to buy occupied?

Banks do not own property which is occupied:
Actually, you need to look at that from the other direction;
Banks do not rent out their REOs.
Banks do not give deeper discounts to anyone, either.
Banks are not altuistic; they only do what is best for themselves.
